Happy Spring! As the weather heats up so does the market. We have had a very busy segement of the market which had been fairly quiet: the ultra luxury market. There have been 6 $10M+ dollar listings either going into contract or closing escrow this year.  5 of those properties were over $15M. What is going on? 


2017 was not a super busy year in this segment. 2018 is a totally different situation

 

Buying expensive real estate is back!

The ultra high end of the market is never easy to predict. Market activity comes and goes and right now it is going. 2017 was not a super busy year in this segment. 2018 is a totally different situation. In my opinion there have been quite a few buyers on the sideline waiting to see how the national politics and economy was going to shake out. After a while it simply begins to be no fun to be on the sideline. New norms get assimilated and then it is time to act. With limited supply having now been snapped up, buyers will be wanting something good to come available. Luckily the Armour Group has some very interesting offerings in the pipeline and cannot wait to let you all know about them!
